You may travel with one (1) cat or dog as an Emotional Support Animal in the cabin (no other animals are allowed) under the following conditions:
• Your Emotional Support Animal must travel on your lap (if the animal is smaller than a two-year-old child) or fit in the foot space without obstructing the passage of other passengers.
• You must present a medical certificate justifying the need to travel with the Emotional Support Animal. This certificate must include the professional’s stamp and signature and be no more than one (1) year old from the flight date.
• Emotional Support Animals are transported in the cabin for a fee. For more information, please visit our website at https://www.arajet.com/es.
Important: Currently, we do not transport emotional support animals on flights to or from the United States, in accordance with our current operational policies.
Please note that your pet must have the required health documentation for both the country of origin and the destination. We recommend consulting the relevant health authorities before your trip, as requirements may include but are not limited to: vaccines, deworming certificates, medical certificates, and exit health clearances, among others.
To avoid delays at check-in, we recommend adding your Emotional Support Animal to your flight at the time of booking. Due to the need to validate your animal’s documentation, web check-in is not available. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the airport counter at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time.
