You can travel with one (1) cat or dog as an Emotional Support Animal in the cabin (no other animals will be accepted) under the following conditions:
• Your Emotional Support Animal must travel on your lap (if the animal is smaller than a 2-year-old child) or fit within the foot space without obstructing the passage of other passengers.
• You must present a certification from your doctor justifying the need to travel with an Emotional Support Animal. This certification must include the professional's stamp and signature and must not be older than one (1) year from the flight date.
• Emotional Support Animals are transported in the cabin for a fee. For more information, visit our website at https://www.arajet.com/es.
Please note that your pet must have the required health documents from both the country of origin and the destination. We recommend consulting the relevant health authorities before your trip, as these requirements may include, but are not limited to: vaccinations, deworming certificates, medical certificates, and exit health certificates, among others.
To avoid delays at check-in, we recommend adding your Emotional Support Animal to your flight when making your reservation. Due to the need to validate your pet's supporting documentation, online check-in is not allowed. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the check-in counter at least 3 hours before your flight's departure.
If your destination is the United States, please ensure you comply with the pet entry requirements established by the DOT and the CDC.
