We will transport Wheelchairs and other Assistance Devices as Hold Baggage free of charge. You must present yourself at the airport counter when the airport opens three (3) hours prior to the Scheduled Departure Time, our staff will Check your wheelchair as Hold Baggage and issue you a Baggage Receipt.
Assistance Devices powered by spill-proof batteries may be Checked as Hold Baggage without charge, provided the plugs are protected against short circuits, the battery is located inside a container, and the wheelchair is secured to protect it from damage caused by the movement of other baggage.
Wheelchairs and other battery-powered Assistance Devices are accepted only if they do not affect the safety of the Flight. Wet or acidic batteries are considered dangerous goods and will not be accepted for travel. You must read our battery acceptance conditions as detailed in Article 9.8.
NOTE: Traveling companions must be at least 16 years of age at the time of travel.
Due to the validation of the supporting documentation of their condition it is not allowed to perform the web check in so we recommend to arrive at the counter 3 hours before the departure time of your flight.
