15. If my luggage does not show up, when is it considered lost and how much is the compensation?

The passenger must file a claim for lost luggage upon arrival at the destination airport, in the baggage claim area. The maximum compensation will be based on the responsibilities imposed by Montreal. The airline has up to 30 days to declare it as such.
