To travel in an emergency exit seat, you must meet the following criteria:
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to understand instructions provided by flight personnel in Spanish or English.
• Ability to communicate information orally in Spanish or English to other passengers.
• Maintain sufficient mobility, strength, and skill to operate the emergency exit effectively.
• Ability to visually determine if the exit is safe to open.
• Not require special assistance, such as mobility devices or medical devices.
• Not be pregnant or responsible for a child/infant or pet.
• Not have medical conditions that may cause injury when operating the exit.
• Not require a seat belt extender, as this could pose a tripping hazard.
